I did alot of asking friends before I purchased this item. I have long, thick hair and the 2 1/4″ width of this is perfect, anything smaller in width would take hours to get this type of a result. I don’t know how I lived without this as long as I did! My hair looks so shiny and healthy. I love that you can decide what temp to set the heat at – you don’t have to fry your hair to straighten it. There is also NO REASON to spend more money than this on other brands. My friends have spent over a $100 on the big name brands and they have all been disappointed when they broke in less than a years time. Buy this – it’s awesome!
