Piracetam is a controlled substance in most countries of the world. A dosing error could have serious consequences. The label on this product says that the jar contains 500 grams, and that a serving size is 1000 mg (1 gram). However there is no way to know how much of the powder equals 1 gram. Buried within the powder (invisible until you dig) there is a scoop. On the scoop it says “0.5 cc”. As there is no way to convert cc (a measure of volume) to grams (a measure of weight), this is useless. Nowhere on the label does it say that a serving size is 1 scoop (though I found that it does say this on the PrimaForce website). By weighing out 20 grams of the powder, I was able to determine that a gram = about 1/4 teaspoon (more than 2 x the volume of the scoop that came with the jar). Therefore, the information on the label is insufficient and the information on the website is false. If quality control is so lax as to allow for such grossly inadequate labeling, there is little to instill confidence that the powder itself is pure.

I’ve been taking Piracetam as suggested, little higher dosage actually, I find no benefit whatsoever. Everybody is diff., it just doesn’t work for me.

This stuff works pretty well. I haven’t taken it long enough to be sure, but my best friend has taken it for a few months and told me it helps with concentration.

It is very very very bitter. However, with some knowledge in anatomy/neuroscience, you should know that the receptors for bitter are mainly in the back of the tongue. The receptors for sweet is at the tip and salty/sour is on the sides. POUR THE PIRACETAM ON THE TIP OF YOUR TONGUE and then wash it down with water, it’ll barely touch your bitter receptors. I was an idiot and poured it straight into the back of my mouth so I can wash it down faster. Then I figured out this trick after my Neuroscience lecture on taste receptors.

Mild psychological changes but nothing to be too excited about. No unwanted effects. Taste is undesireable so encapsulation is necessary. It can also be dissolved into juices and other flavored beverages to mask the taste. This substance may be more effective if combined with other nootropics.

I took this religiously 3 times per day. A few days in, I did more research and found that many people recommend supplementing with Choline. So I started taking a 250 mg choline with each dose of Piracetam. A month later and I have never felt any effects whatsoever. Since there is a lot in the container, probably a year’s worth, I will continue taking this for at least another month and report back.
