Oxo Good Grips Silicone Flexible Turner

I loved this spatula but it somehow got left in the oven and the handle melted. The turner part was fine. Does anyone know what the handle is made out of? I don’t think it’s silicone.

I purchased the larger, similar turner and liked it so well that I ordered this smaller turner. We use it mainly for eggs in a small non-stick pan, but it works great. I do worry about the silicon breaking where the metal starts, but so far no problems. No sticking and no scratching.
